Overview
Karina Trejo is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing internal medicine in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Internal and Hospital Medicine. She completed two clinical rotations at Moffitt prior to becoming a practicing physician assistant in July 2018. Karina completed her Physician Assistant training at South University in Tampa, and earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of South Florida. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine. Karina a fellow member of the American Academy of PAs, Florida Academy of Physician Assistant, Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, and Society of Hospital Medicine and plays an active role in the training and mentoring of physician assistant students.
