Dr. Ranjita Poudel Selected as a mHealth Scholar for Hybrid 2024 mHealth Training Institute

Dr. Ranjita Poudel, a T32 Behavioral Oncology fellow in Moffitt’s Tobacco Research and Intervention Program (TRIP) under the mentorship of Drs. Christine Vinci and Vani Simmons, was selected as a mHealth Scholar for the Hybrid 2024 mHealth Training Institute (mHTI). The mHTI provides trainees with intense and broad training in the latest mHealth approaches and methodologies.

Dr. Poudel completed her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Florida International University. She now focuses her research on mindfulness and mHealth interventions for the prevention and treatment of cancer. The mHealth training is an incredible opportunity that will strengthen Dr. Poudel’s skills in research as well as collaboration in working with peers.
