TAMPA, Fla. — Moffitt Cancer Center has once again been recognized by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) for its use of technology to improve patient care and health care operations. The cancer center earned Level 7 recognition in both acute and ambulatory care in the 2026 Digital Health Most Wired program.

Among more than 44,000 facilities represented in this year’s survey, Moffitt was recognized for its digital health capabilities across key areas, including clinical quality and safety, analytics and data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, patient engagement and innovation.

The annual Digital Health Most Wired program evaluates how healthcare organizations adopt and use technology to improve care delivery and operations. Organizations are certified on a scale of Levels 1 to 10, with Level 10 representing the highest level of digital maturity. Certification at Levels 7 through 10 recognizes organizations demonstrating significant achievements in digital health.

“Technology is constantly changing, and so are the needs of our patients and care teams,” said Sissy Schilling, Moffitt’s chief information officer. “Earning this recognition is an important milestone, but what matters most is how we continue to build on that progress. We’re always looking for ways to make our systems more connected, our processes more efficient and the patient experience better.”

Now in its seventh year of recognition, Moffitt continues to strengthen its digital capabilities to support cancer care, research and patient engagement. As technology evolves, the cancer center remains focused on building secure, connected systems that help care teams work more efficiently and support a more personalized patient experience.
