Moffitt Cancer Center Named to Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2026
TAMPA, Fla. — Moffitt Cancer Center has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2026, placing Moffitt among the top 250 healthcare organizations in the nation recognized for supporting their employees and creating strong workplace environments. The prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc.
The recognition comes at a time when healthcare professionals continue to face significant workplace challenges, including high rates of burnout and stress. Forbes’ second-annual ranking highlights healthcare employers that stand out based on several factors, including wages, working conditions and schedules, career advancement opportunities and safety.
“We are honored to be named one of Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals,” said Amy Durham, vice president of Human Resources Operations. “Our healthcare professionals bring extraordinary expertise and compassion to our patients every day. Creating an environment where they can do their best work, grow their careers and feel supported is essential, and this recognition is a meaningful reflection of the people who make Moffitt such a special place to work.”
For the 2026 ranking, Forbes partnered with Statista to survey more than 30,000 employees at U.S. healthcare and social services organizations with at least 1,000 employees. Participants evaluated employers on factors including wages, working conditions, schedules, career advancement and safety, as well as their likelihood to recommend their employer. The 250 organizations with the highest overall scores earned a spot on the list.
At Moffitt, more than 10,000 team members work together across clinical care, research and support services to advance cancer care and improve outcomes for patients. As a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, Moffitt provides healthcare professionals with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines, advance their careers and contribute to research and discoveries shaping the future of cancer care.
