Overview
Dr. Joseph’s clinical interests include providing comprehensive, patient- and family-centered supportive and palliative care for individuals living with cancer and other serious illnesses. He has a particular interest in pain and symptom management, complex medical decision-making, and communication surrounding serious illness. His approach emphasizes understanding each patient’s individual goals, values, and priorities and helping patients and families navigate complex treatment decisions throughout the course of their illness. He is especially interested in integrating supportive care alongside cancer-directed treatment to alleviate symptoms, improve quality of life, and provide patients and families with the information and support they need as their illness and treatment needs evolve.
