His surgical expertise includes endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery, transoral robotic surgery (TORS), open approaches to complex head and neck and skull base tumors, and microvascular free-flap reconstruction. He works within a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize effective tumor treatment while preserving function and quality of life whenever possible, collaborating closely with Moffitt’s neurosurgical team in the management of complex skull base tumors.
Dr. Aldhahri earned his medical degree from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Toronto. He then completed fellowship training at the University of Florida in advanced head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction, followed by a second fellowship in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery with a specialized emphasis on skull base oncology.
