She sees patients seeking comprehensive colorectal cancer care in the South Tampa Bay region, including those who may benefit from highly specialized or complex cancer surgery.
Dr. Delisle’s clinical expertise includes robotic and minimally invasive colorectal surgery as well as pelvic exenteration and other complex surgical approaches for advanced rectal cancer. She works closely with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient, with an emphasis on helping patients understand their options and considering both cancer outcomes and quality of life when making treatment decisions. Her current Moffitt appointment specifically focuses on colorectal cancer surgery and multidisciplinary management of advanced colorectal malignancies.
Her research focuses on improving regional cancer care delivery, implementing innovative models of cancer care, and improving outcomes for patients undergoing major surgery for advanced rectal cancer. She has authored or co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and has presented her research at major national and international conferences.
Dr. Delisle completed advanced fellowship training in surgical oncology followed by an Oncologic Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, one of the world’s leading cancer centers.
Her goal is to provide patients with advanced, evidence-based colorectal cancer treatment close to home, while ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their cancer care.
