Overview
Dr. Jaffer received his MD degree from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. He then went on to complete a Neurology Residency at the same institution, serving as the Academic Chief Resident of his program. Most recently, he completed a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, also at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Jaffer’s clinical interest is in onco-neurological complications, especially as relates to epilepsy syndromes, myopathies, and neuropathies. He is interested in multimodal clinical research that combines the use of patient parameters with EMG/EEG findings to predict neurologic outcomes and prognosis. Dr. Jaffer also has an interest in quality improvement research, particularly systems-based root cause analysis.
