Adult Volunteer Program

Moffitt Cancer Center is now accepting year-round applications for the Adult Volunteer Program! Please read below for the steps to apply for the Adult Volunteer Program.

Applicants for the Adult Volunteer Program must:

• Be 18 or older and not enrolled in any college or university as a full-time or part-time student
• Complete the online application. Completed applications include:
  
  • Copy of your government-issued photo ID or Visa
  • Completed background check form
  • Copy of your current Influenza Vaccine, if applying between November 15 – March 15
• Applicants must complete a virtual interview with a member of the Volunteer Services Team prior to attending orientation. 
• Attend a virtual orientation session on September 5 or September 18, from 8:30 a.m. • 12:30 p.m.
  • Orientations are held on Mondays via Zoom. Additional volunteer-specific orientation will also be scheduled
• Attend a health screening and be cleared by Occupational Health

Student Volunteer Program

Moffitt Cancer Center will now accept applications for the Student Volunteer Program in the Fall. Applications will open at 8 a.m. on July 24 and will close at 5 p.m. on August 7.  Please read below for the steps to apply for the Student Volunteer Program.

Applicants for the Student Volunteer Program must:

• Be 18 or older and enrolled as a full-time or part-time student, in any college or university;
• Commit to volunteering for a minimum of one year
• Complete the online application. Completed applications include:
  
  • Copy of your government-issued photo ID or Visa
  • Completed background check form
  • Copy of your current Influenza Vaccine
• Applicants must complete a virtual interview with a member of the Volunteer Services Team prior to attending orientation. 
• Attend a virtual orientation session on September 5 or September 18, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Orientations are held on Mondays via Zoom. Additional volunteer-specific orientation will also be scheduled.
