Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center and Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Proton Center - Opening Soon

Moffitt's 117,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Speros Outpatient Center brings nationally recognized cancer expertise closer to patients across Pasco, Hernando and northern Hillsborough counties. Opening on January 26, 2026, the center offers convenience, comfort and the highest standard of care, including the following services:

The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Proton Therapy Center, located next door to the outpatient center, will be home to one of the most advanced cancer treatments available today: proton therapy. It is scheduled to open in June 2026.  

This next-generation radiation treatment uses charged particles to target tumors with remarkable accuracy while limiting exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. For many patients, this means fewer side effects, reduced long-term complications and improved quality of life during and after treatment.

Speros, under construction on 775 acres in Pasco County, will boast 140 buildings, including clinics, research, housing and more. Expansion at the site will continue well into the next few decades.
