Resources at Moffitt

Counseling and Support

Completing a blood or marrow transplant or cellular immunotherapy is a significant milestone, but survivorship can bring its own unique challenges. As patients adjust to life after treatment, they may experience physical, emotional, social and practical changes that can feel overwhelming.

In support of long-term recovery and well-being, Moffitt's clinical social workers provide specialized guidance, resources and emotional support to help BMT-CI survivors and their families navigate the transition to survivorship, build resilience, and address the challenges that may arise after treatment.

You can reach your social worker by calling the department at 813-745-8407.
