Overseen by Brian Czerniecki, MD, PhD, Moffitt’s Don & Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program offers several advantages to patients, such as:

• All-encompassing diagnostics, treatment and supportive care – In one location, our breast cancer patients have access to expertly coordinated radiology and imaging services, clinical treatment and supportive care services, such as counseling and pain management.
• Advanced therapies and procedures – Our breast oncology specialists develop individualized treatment plans that may include minimally invasive surgery, targeted radiation therapy, immunotherapy and many other evidence-based methods.

Additionally, Moffitt leads a robust clinical trials program through which we are continually making breakthroughs in breast cancer treatment and prevention. Patients who participate in this program can receive the latest therapies before those options are made widely available. Thanks to our dedication to improving patient outcomes and quality of life through research, the National Cancer Institute has designated Moffitt as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are the only such center based in Florida.
