Moffitt Cancer Center’s Advanced Diagnostic Laboratories are state-of-the-art facilities, located within the city of Tampa near the University of South Florida. The laboratories are dedicated to the development and implementation of predictive, prognostic and diagnostic molecular biomarker testing that will permit selection of cancer treatments with targeted therapy allowing for the best in personalized medicine.

We are a CLIA certified, ASHI and CAP accredited clinical laboratory under the direction of Moffitt’s Department of Pathology, specializing in high-complexity testing utilizing innovative technologies. Our portfolio of services include: HLA typing to match donors and patients for bone marrow transplant, 10-color flow cytometry panels, an extensive menu of diagnostic molecular oncology assays, and FISH cytogenetic assays.

Billing information

Client Billing: Laboratory testing services will be billed by the Moffitt Medical Group to the requesting institution. The requesting institution will receive one bill for both the professional and technical services.

Shipping information

Collection kits will be provided for the shipment of biological specimens. All kits will be shipped via FedEx utilizing the FedEx label provided in the kit.
Package the sample in accordance with the kit instructions. For specific questions about packaging and shipping contact customer service at 813-745-1499.
Samples may be shipped Monday-Thursday only to ensure weekday delivery.
