Sarcoma is a type of cancer that grows in connective tissues in the body. It can be categorized in two ways: soft tissue sarcoma that affects soft body tissue, like muscle, cartilage and blood vessels, or osteosarcoma that targets bone. There are currently no standardized screening process for sarcoma so largely speaking this type of cancer is unpredictable.
